You know I'm the biggest fan when it comes to Paulas Choice skincare but, she has a huge line and it's not always easy to know what's best when it comes to your skincare shelves. Do not fear, I've done the job for you and curated not only my personal favourites but also my absolute "must haves" that need to make their way into your routines
When it comes to skincare, Paula's Choice is always front and centre, for me anyway. Quality, science-backed formulations that deliver results which is why so many are staples in both my morning and evenings routines. But, I know it's minefield to choose through an entire website of products so I thought I'd make this post for you that not only contain my holy grail, must -haves but ones that I have used and loved many times before
This mildly foaming cleanser leaves the skin clean but not so clean where it's stripped it dry. It's targeted for combination/oily skin but is also great for dry/de-hydrated skin because of the added Hyaluronic Acid. It's also completely fragrance free
It's all about the chemical exfoliants right now but let's not forget that physically buffing-off dead skin build up is just as important. The Un-Scrub is gentle enough for even the most sensitive of skins with soft jojoba beads and chamomile extract to soothe the skin. A great once a week treatment.
My go-to daily, packed with Hyaluronic Acid to leave the skin hydrated, plump and dewy. Use straight after cleansing morning and night, just pour into the palm of your hand and press into the skin.
This is a holy grail. One of my absolute must haves for every one and every skin type. A gentle fluid formulated with Salicylic Acid (BHA) to breakdown dirt and oil deep inside the pores. This product has anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties to reduce blackheads, blemishes and redness
I call this eye cream my triple threat, here's why. It's a power-house of ingredients to target not one but multiple under eye concerns, Ceramides to retain moisture and keep it hydrated, Retinol to improve fine lines and those dreaded crows feet and Vitamin C to improve dark circles and restore the delicate skin.
Little bottles of concentrated ingredients to boost your skin routines, they are all to target specific skin concerns from un-even skin tone, dark spots and pigmentation, de-hydration and dryness to retaining moisture and firming the skin
Can be used alone or added to your daily serum or moisturiser
A great beginner and entry level Retinol product. The added Bakuchiol not only helps to make the Retinol more effective but is naturally anti-inflammatory so actually helps the skin tolerate the retinol leaving less room for irritation.
The 1% pure Retinol in this treatment is for the more advanced Retinol user but has added key ingredients to deliver even better results.
The newest addition the PC line but a real winner if you have reactive skin. CBD is proven to be skin soothing and this treatment milk contains a full-spectrum, hemp-derived cannabidiol which is boosted by non-fragrant plant oils. As a daily addition this serum will minimise sensitivity, prevent moisture loss and visibly reduce the signs of ageing.
This rich moisturiser is infused with Retinol so not only provides deep hydration but slowly gives the skin more radiance whilst strengthening your skin barrier. A great partner with the Moisture Renewal Oil booster.
A game-changer if you have bacne or Keratosis Pilaris. This body lotion is formulated with Salicylic Avid to help breakdown oil build up and exfoliate the skin. Great for those tiny bumps you see on the back of your arms and gentle enough to use daily.
So there you have it, my holy grails and must haves from the Paula's Choice line. These products give your skin routines everything you need for smoother, hydrated, younger looking skin.

The main function of our skin is to act as a barrier against environmental damage. The outer layer is highly cellular and provides the barrier function and the inner layer keeps the strength and elasticity, both start to diminish with as we go through life or over-expose ourselves to UV radiation. When you are children or young adults the skin naturally contains high levels of Vitamin C which supports the collagen but also offers antioxidant protection. As we age these concentrations weaken and the need to supplement them becomes necessary - this is why we apply topical Vitamin C.
